History & Mission
HISTORY
St. Philip Neri Parish was instituted on June 22, 1961, by Bishop Wendelin J. Nold. On March
11, 1962, 219 students had registered for school in grades 1st through
5th. The school officially opened on
September 10, 1962, with the School Sisters of Noire Dame serving as staff
members. The first principal was Sister Patricia Ann. The School Sisters of
Notre Dame served the school for several years. Following the School Sisters of
Noire Dame were the Sisters of the Holy Family. The Sisters of the Holy Family
left the school and parish in June, 1995.

MISSION
St. Philip Neri
School offers a quality education in a Christian environment. The school staff
recognize that each child is unique. The staff strives to assist each student to
develop spiritually, academically, socially, and morally. The school will work
with parents and the community to provide a safe child-centered facility, that
will foster self-esteem, self-discipline, and the essential skills for a
productive life.
