History & Mission

HISTORY

St. Philip Neri Parish was instituted on June 22, 1961, by Bishop Wendelin J. Nold. On March 11, 1962, 219 students had registered for school in grades 1st  through 5th. The school officially opened on September 10, 1962, with the School Sisters of Noire Dame serving as staff members. The first principal was Sister Patricia Ann. The School Sisters of Notre Dame served the school for several years. Following the School Sisters of Noire Dame were the Sisters of the Holy Family. The Sisters of the Holy Family left the school and parish in June, 1995.
